It's funny...I've written this post 3 times now on computer and multiple other times in my head and just can't seem to get the wording right. Or maybe there is no "right" when it comes to typing this. Does right even matter when it comes to a blog post telling everyone that in January I'll be leaving for 11 months to travel the world? Probably not. But here it goes anyways... 3rd times the charm. 

In January 2021 I will be leaving NC to travel the world with other individuals to love people and tell them about Jesus! We will be traveling to Central America, Asia and Africa to come along side minstries that have been partnered with the World Race for years. As you're reading this, I'm probably either on my way or at training camp in Gainesville, GA, meeting my other teammates and preparing for our time away. 

It has been really cool to look back the past couple of months and even years to see how God has worked all of this out. The specific people that He has put in my life- years ago and even now- that have allowed me to open up my heart and listen to me speak out my dreams to them and in return have spoken words of life and encouragement to me. I know that nothing is coincidental but instead has been delicately orchestrated to bring me to such a time as this. I'm beyond excited that this dream is finally coming to pass and am still amazed at this crazy opportunity and life that God has given me - I've just had to say "yes." 

A different post with more details is coming for a different day but until then I would love if you would be praying for me!! Specifically for courage to continue saying yes, confidence in going forward sharing God's love with others and strength to be okay with being uncomfortable (ya girl is going to be camping for the next 7 days...I've never camped a night in my life.... setting up a tent for the first time the other day was also an adventure

).
