On this thanksgiving I find myself extra thankful. I’ve been home for 3 days now and I find myself full of gratitude and thanksgiving. Thankful to have had the experience of this past year and all that the World Race entails. Thankful to the Lord for all of the people he has put into my life throughout this year and the specific ways they encouraged me and spoke truth over me. Thankful for all of the ministry opportunities and for all of the people who went from death to life by saying yes to Him. Thankful for all of the really cool places that I was able to see and adventures I was able to go on. But over all of that, I am so thankful for the journey the Lord took me on to see just how good and faithful He really is. I am thankful that we don’t have to go looking for His love but instead it comes chasing after us- in abundance. I am thankful that even though one season has come to an end, that doesn’t mean that all of it does. But instead “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6). The beginning is what this is. The beginning of a new season and a continuation of what the Lord has been doing all along.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me while on this journey.
Thank you to those who supported me, whether that was financially, through an encouraging word, or even through reading my blog. Honestly it humbles me that anyone would even read this thing!
Thank you for helping make this year what it was for me – a year of walking in freedom and confidence that the Lord is good and his faithfulness is sure.
Happy thanksgiving!!
